Arrow Transportation acquires Mountain View Reload and six U.S. facilities

Arrow Reload Systems is acquiring Mountain View Reload Group (MVR), including MVR locations in Sumas, Washington; Shelby, Montana; and Irving, Cleburne, Godly and Alvin, Texas. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

Arrow Transportation Systems is among the oldest transportation companies in Canada and specializes in commodity hauling, facilities management, logistics management, marine services, manufacturing, product distribution and technology development. 

MVR handles a variety of products including steel, drywall, cement fiberboard, machinery and oil field supply items such as barite and bentonite. In addition to shipping rail cars with lumber, the company also load vans, trucks and ocean containers with forest products.

In taking over MVR's footprint, Arrow Transportation expands further south in the U.S. and grows its stateside presence from three locations to nine.
